Different types of physical and drug therapy can help to relax the spasms that people with cerebral palsy suffer and can make children more comfortable over all. They can also help the child to develop better control over their muscles, which will sometimes allow them to perform tasks that require fine motor skills.
Paying for the cost of wheelchairs and other assisting devices can be very expensive. This is sometimes the reason that parents have such a difficult time dealing with the financial fallout of CP. Wheelchairs, walkers and other devices can come with very high price tags attached.
